“It is more blessed to give than to receive” -ACTS 20:35

I started my working career at McDonalds on Broadway across from Park Mall where I met my beautiful bride Barbara of more than 28 years.

Later I spent 7 years working with my father at Snoopy’s Flight school teaching hundreds of people to fly small airplanes. During these years I discovered my love for teaching as well as the benefits and heartaches of owning a small business. After working many evenings and every holiday, Barb and I decided it was time to find a career where I could be home to help raise the children.

I started in the financial services industry in April of 1993 with Prudential Insurance. My last year at Prudential! was ranked 59th out of more than 10,000 insurance agents. I decided after 7 years working at Prudential to join Paine Webber, which later bought UBS and changed my focus to more securities related work. I was ranked number 1in my Training class. During this time at UBS I recalled the advantages of owning a small business and decided to start one in 2005.

Being in a small business can be truly challenging yet immensely satisfying. GR Financial has allowed me to work with truly incredible people. We are not driven by some mandate on high and can happily help clients every day. After turning 50, I realized that I am having more fun today than I have ever had. I believe that if I continue to work with such caring people and clients that I am proud to call friends that this journey will continue to be incredible.

I look forward to many more years of educating and “giving” to the incredible clients we have been blessed to serve.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’- Martin Luther King, Jr.

When it comes to my career and working with people, I cannot make the market go up or down. I cannot control all of the economic issues we face day to day, but I can have a plan to navigate through it all while offering guidance and assistance.   I want to give people the best opportunity I possibly can to achieve their goals according to their values. I want them to feel comfortable knowing that they have someone on their side supporting them.  I love doing what I do!

I have been in the financial industry since 1998. I have dedicated my time over the years growing in a variety of roles. I have worked as an intern, a licensed sales assistant, an operations manager, a Chief Compliance Officer, eventually shifting gears a bit and moving into a more dedicated role as a financial advisor, and now as a co-owner of my advisory firm GR Financial Group, LLC. By being able to utilize both my experience in operations and as a financial advisor; it has allowed me to continue to help grow our firm in a positive direction alongside our amazing GR Team.

I have seen and learned an awful lot over the years. I love talking to my husband and sharing with him the dreams we have for ourselves and our two beautiful girls. I aspire to someday be in the same position as my clients who feel really great about their future and retirement, knowing they will be okay. It makes what can be considered a very stressful career that much more rewarding.

“There is no substitute for hard work”- Thomas Edison

Now I know what you’re thinking, this guy doesn’t have a single grey hair on his head. How could he possibly know anything about investing or financial planning? Well, while that first statement may be true, I’ve been working in the financial field for the past eight years with an incredible team that has over 60 years of experience. I graduated from a top 15 business school at the Eller College of Management, and I also hold both my securities, and life and health insurance license.

Despite this background, my number one priority is to make sure my clients are cared for in all aspects of their financial lives. I want them to know that despite what the market may throw at us, I will do everything in my power to ensure they are able to live the lives that they desire. I believe that those who are the most successful in this world are those who serve and add more value to others than anyone else. While I may not have all of the answers, this is the framework through which I operate.

Outside of my career, the most important aspects of my life are my faith, my relationships, and my health. I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, as well as pursuing different ways to improve my health and fitness. I also happen to be a huge fan of the Super Bowl LII winning Philadelphia Eagles. Go birds!

I look forward to connecting with you soon!

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”- Martin Luther King, Jr.

The most important aspects of my life are my faith, family, and career. I love working at GR Financial Group because these are intertwined in everything I do. I graduated with highest academic distinction from The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, and have been working in the financial industry since 2010.

My favorite part about working at GR Financial Group is the ability to help people reach their financial goals. At the end of the day, the financial industry is not simply about numbers on a page, but rather the relationships that are developed along the way. If I’m not in the office, you will probably find me at a Wildcats football game, or spending time with my wife.  I look forward to the incredible journey that awaits me, and the relationships that will be built along the way.

“It’s never crowded along the extra mile.” Wayne Dyer

I’ve been with the good folks here at GR Financial Group since 2008. I was initially hired for a part-time office manager position, but after obtaining my Series 65 license, I was able to step into new roles with varied and greater responsibilities over the years. Currently, I still retain some of my Office Manager responsibilities, but now as a Registered Client Service Associate, my primary focus and great privilege, is to provide excellent customer service to our many wonderful clients.

Before coming to GR Financial Group, I was a stay-at-home mom caring for my family. Prior to staying home with the kids, I enjoyed a 13-year career at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) starting as a secretary, then a financial analyst, and finally as a procurement representative. While working at CSC I also attended college part-time and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Accounting.

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” – Mother Teresa

I am the front line of the GR team, with a specialty in customer service. This first started from my days of working at Tucson Airport Authority. During that time, I encountered people from all over the country; some famous and some not. It was then that I discovered that people of all kinds wanted the same thing, which is to be treated with respect and kindness. My appreciation for people grew and continues to deepen through my career. On a memorable note, I will never forget John Travolta, who flew his own Gulfstream, walking into the private aviation terminal late one night… talk about star struck!!! Also, for you football fans, I had the privilege of meeting Walter Payton, which is one of the many autographs I still have today.

After getting married and having my first child, I entered the business in 1997 as a receptionist for a large brokerage firm. Within a couple of months, I was promoted to Cashier in the Operations area. My main responsibility was to handle all monetary transactions for an entire office of twenty five brokers and fifteen assistants as well the clients. I was then cross-trained as a Wire Operator and responsible for processing trade orders, trade corrections, and trade errors. Working in operations, I gained my experience of compliance for this heavily regulated industry.

Ten years later, I was invited to join the team as their Administrative Assistant. This was a side of the business I had not yet fulfilled, but was ready for the challenge. In the nine years here, I have discovered that I absolutely love my team, but most importantly my clients. I will always strive to provide excellent customer service with a smile.

I was born in California, but I have lived in Tucson my whole life; it is my home. I am happily married to a wonderful hard-working man of twenty two years and the mother of a very good daughter and son. I live for my family. God has and continues to bless me every day as I walk the path of my journey in life.

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney

With a background in the Client Services and Operational aspect of GR Financial Group, I am happy to be able to utilize that expertise alongside my passion in helping people plan for their financial futures and walk alongside them in reaching their goals in life.

I started my career in hospitality, which gave me a love for helping others and a strong understanding of the needs of people even when they aren’t at the forefront of a conversation. In my time at GR, I have worked as both a Client Service Associate and a Registered Client Service Associate, getting my Series 65 License in 2018. Throughout my time with GR, I have always worked very closely with the Advisory Team and am very excited to be a part of that Advisory Team now. I recently had the opportunity to obtain my Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional designation and enjoyed that process immensely. I love opportunities to grow my knowledge and the ability to share that knowledge and apply it to help others!

I am a native Tucsonan and received my Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our son and our families! I also enjoy indoor cycling, working on home improvement projects, taking my son to the park and the zoo and playing with our dog, an energetic and loving English Bulldog named Spike.

“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make” – Jane Goodall

As the newest member to join the Client Services Team at GR Financial Group, I am excited to grow with and learn all that I can from this wonderful team! I look forward to serving you alongside Rosalinda and Sandy on the front line of GR! While working in finance is an entirely new field for me, I was previously in the healthcare industry for over eight years at Banner Health. Helping people is still my specialty! During my time with Banner, I worked alongside doctors, nurses, administrators, and support staff all over the hospital, learning the ins and outs of one of the biggest hospitals in Southern Arizona and how they served our community daily.
The knowledge and experience gained from working in a such a unique environment taught me that being of service, in any way, to my community and the people that surround it will always be the most fulfilling task I can accomplish. I honed in on my skills in anticipating the needs of my team and found the best solutions to some very interesting problems. While I may not have all the answers to your questions right away, I will work hard to find the solution you need. I will always greet you with a smile and try to leave you with a kind word, because having compassion and empathy for those around us is what keeps the world moving forward.
I am proud to be a native Tucsonan with a family deeply rooted in Arizona for generations! Coming from such a big family has only inspired me to continue to explore the world and learn about the different cultures that surround us. So far, I have visited over nine countries and still counting! I love to spend time planning new adventures, going to the movies with friends, cooking up a new recipe, spending time with family and appreciating all the beauty that Tucson holds.
I look forward to meeting you, whether it be over the phone or in person!

“Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point.”  C. S. Lewis

I bring to GR Financial more than 25 years of growing and improving small businesses.  I have always been a bit of an entrepreneur, starting my first business at the age of ten, and it wasn’t a lemonade stand.  I enjoy looking at how things work and seeing how I can improve the process and make things more productive.  I am the Compliance Associate, IT Security Associate and Organizational Development Associate at the firm.  Because I love working with people, problem solving, and making procedures, I am well-suited for my positions in the firm.

When I am not at work, I enjoy time with my wife and two daughters hiking, playing a game, or watching a good movie.  One of my many talents is being able to build things.  My last project was moving a few walls at our house and making a reading nook for my wife and daughters.
