“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far,
“It is more blessed to give than to receive” -ACTS 20:35
I started my working career at McDonalds on Broadway across from Park Mall where I met my beautiful bride Barbara of more than 25 years.
Later I spent 7 years working with my father at Snoopy’s Flight school teaching hundreds of people to fly small airplanes. During these years I discovered my love for teaching as well as the benefits and heartaches of owning a small business. After working many evenings and every holiday, Barb and I decided it was time to find a career where I could be home to help raise the children.
I started in the financial services industry in April of 1993 with Prudential Insurance. My last year at Prudential I was ranked 59th out of more than 10,000 insurance agents. I decided after 7 years working at Prudential to join Paine Webber, which later bought UBS and changed my focus to more securities related work. I was ranked number 1 in my Training class. During this time at UBS I recalled the advantages of owning a small business and decided to start one in 2005.
Being in a small business can be truly challenging yet immensely satisfying. GR Financial has allowed me to work with truly incredible people. We are not driven by some mandate on high and can happily help clients every day. After turning 50, I realized that I am having more fun today than I have ever had. I believe that if I continue to work with such caring people and clients that I am proud to call friends that this journey will continue to be incredible.
I look forward to many more years of educating and “giving” to the incredible clients we have been blessed to serve.
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’ – Martin Luther King, Jr.
When it comes to my career and working with people, I cannot make the market go up or down. I cannot control all of the economic issues we face day to day, but I can have a plan to navigate through it all while offering guidance and assistance. I want to give people the best opportunity I possibly can to achieve their goals according to their values. I want them to feel comfortable knowing that they have someone on their side supporting them. I love doing what I do!
I have been in the financial industry for 18 years. I have worked as an intern, a licensed sales assistant, an operations manager, a Chief Compliance Officer, a financial advisor, and now as a co-owner of my advisory firm GR Financial Group, LLC. I have seen and learned an awful lot. I love talking to my husband and sharing with him the dreams we have for ourselves and our two beautiful girls. I aspire to someday be in the same position as my clients who feel really great about their future and retirement, knowing they will be okay. It makes what can be considered a very stressful career that much more rewarding.

I am the accounting specialist for GR Financial Group, and am responsible for paying our bills, paying our employees, and invoicing our clients. I am a licensed investment advisor representative and I facilitate trading activities in our client accounts. I’ve worked in the investment advisory services business since 2008. Prior to that I was a stay-at-home mom caring for my two children after working for Computer Sciences Corporation as a procurement representative. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Accounting.
“Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point.” C. S. Lewis
I bring to GR Financial more than 25 years of growing and improving small businesses. I have always been a bit of an entrepreneur, starting my first business at the age of ten. I enjoy looking at how things work and seeing how I can improve the process and make things more productive. I am the Compliance Officer and Organizational Development Specialist at the firm. Because I love working with people, problem solving, and making procedures, I am well-suited for my positions in the firm.
When I am not at work, I enjoy time with my wife and two daughters hiking, playing a game, or watching a good movie. One of my many talents is being able to build things. I am currently building a reading nook for my wife and daughters.

Now I know what you’re thinking, this guy doesn’t have a single grey hair on his head. How could he possibly know anything about investing or financial planning? Well, while that first statement may be true, I’ve been in the financial field for the past six years and have a degree from the Eller College of Management. More importantly however, I work with a team of individuals with over 50 years of experience which enables me to learn quickly and effectively serve the needs of my clients.
I’ve learned that those who are the most successful in this world are those who are able to do more for others than anyone else, and that is exactly what I strive to do. I may not have all of the answers (yet), but I am always willing to learn and ask questions.
When I’m not developing my skills as the next Warren Buffet, I enjoy competitive weight lifting and watching my Eagles trample the Dallas Cowboys. I look forward to meeting with you soon!
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
The most important aspects of my life are my faith, family, and career. I love working at GR Financial Group because these are intertwined in everything I do. I graduated with highest academic distinction from The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management in December of 2016. I have been working in the financial industry since 2010 and have loved every minute of it. I always strive to increase my knowledge and experience by continuing to obtain financial certifications and learning from the great team around me.
My favorite part about working at GR Financial Group is the ability to help people reach their financial goals. At the end of the day, the financial industry is not simply about numbers on a page, but rather the relationships that are developed along the way. If I’m not in the office, you will probably find me at a Wildcats football game, or spending time with my fiance. I look forward to the incredible journey that awaits me, and the relationships that will be built along the way.
“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” – Mother Teresa
I am the front line of the GR team, with a specialty in customer service. This first started from my days of working at Tucson Airport Authority. During that time, I encountered people from all over the country; some famous and some not. It was then that I discovered that people of all kinds wanted the same thing, which is to be treated with respect and kindness. My appreciation for people grew and continues to deepen through my career. On a memorable note, I will never forget John Travolta, who flew his own Gulfstream, walking into the private aviation terminal late one night… talk about star struck!!! Also, for you football fans, I had the privilege of meeting Walter Payton, which is one of the many autographs I still have today.
After getting married and having my first child, I entered the business in 1997 as a receptionist for a large brokerage firm. Within a couple of months, I was promoted to Cashier in the Operations area. My main responsibility was to handle all monetary transactions for an entire office of twenty five brokers and fifteen assistants as well the clients. I was then cross-trained as a Wire Operator and responsible for processing trade orders, trade corrections, and trade errors. Working in operations, I gained my experience of compliance for this heavily regulated industry.
Ten years later, I was invited to join the team as their Administrative Assistant. This was a side of the business I had not yet fulfilled, but was ready for the challenge. In the nine years here, I have discovered that I absolutely love my team, but most importantly my clients. I will always strive to provide excellent customer service with a smile.
I was born in California, but I have lived in Tucson my whole life; it is my home. I am happily married to a wonderful hard-working man of twenty two years and the mother of a very good daughter and son. I live for my family. God has and continues to bless me every day as I walk the path of my journey in life.
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
My main duties entail working alongside Rosalinda on the front line as well as planning and executing seminars. I am a part of our Client Satisfaction Team and spend a lot of my time working in that role. I am a native Tucsonan (other than a couple of years spent in Flagstaff for school). I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
My background is mainly in customer service. I spent five years in the hospitality industry, where I worked in numerous positions within two resorts in Tucson, most recently as a Revenue Manager. I enjoyed the hospitality industry, but realized it was time for a change. I wanted to learn something new and get into a field where I can help others within my community reach their personal goals!
In my spare time, I spend time with my husband, my family and my friends! I also love playing with my dog, an energetic and loving English Bulldog.
“Whatever you are, be a good one.” –Abraham Lincoln
I am the Chief Compliance Officer at GR Financial Group. Along with being the CCO I also wear other hats at the office (figuratively because I think I look horrible in a hat). I also help around the office with Money Management, Client Retention, some IT, and comedic relief. I am originally from Oahu, Hawaii but moved when I was young, so Tucson is where I call home. I just love the Tucson Summers (said no one ever).
I have been with this wonderful group of people for over four years now. I previously worked at a Law Office for almost ten. Scott tells everyone that I love to read legal documents and as crazy as it sounds I kind of do. I graduated from Northern Arizona University (Go Lumberjacks) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In my spare time I enjoy reading, and spending time with my husband, kids, and my friends.

“Wear out, don’t rust out.” Some old man in Saguaro National Monument East.
I work as a part time Customer Relationship Management Associate as well as an Administration and Marketing Assistant. I am the number one supporter of the woman of my dreams and best friend Lynsey Richter. I have known the GR group for a long time, so it was an easy transition for me to be around the office, though they may say otherwise. Prior to GR I worked with the Union Pacific Railroad. I worked in the transportation of goods, first as a conductor and finished up my career riding the rails as a locomotive engineer. Through family, friends, love and insight to embrace what matters most in life I switched paths. It has been a true blessing of continual growth, development, and expansion of skills in all areas of my life.
I am a native of Tucson, AZ.
I love being in the mountains and anything outdoors, from ultra-trail running, bicycling and swimming, to spending time at the lakes and camping with my friends and family.
